Oh death, where is thy sting. Goke and Tokunbo....please rest in peace.

This past few days......just so full of events.

God, I am never going to complain again about whatever situation I find myself. I just want to keep thanking you.

The passage of this two great guys opened my eyes to another side to life. This world is useless. Vanity upon vanity, we suffer, we labour, we toil but you know what? God knows when to blow the final whistle!

Tokunbo Dawodu was a happy go fellow, always full of smiles. Went to church on Wednesday for midweek service and by Thursday morning he was already dead. Cardiac arrest! He was only in his early 30's.

All his dreams, aspirations, desires.....gone. Gone forever!

Goke Jimoh....where do I start. Easy going dude. Tho I haven't seen him in a few years since he moved to America after Uni. Heard about 2 years ago that he was battling cancer but he got over it. Then my friend called me now crying.... Goke has joined the saints!

Oh God, please put an end to all this untimely death. This is enough oh.
Father please grant Tokunbo and Goke eternal rest as they join the league of fine gentlemen resting with you.

My heart is heavy.

So, I dont close my eyes when I kiss.....

I have been meaning to write about this for about 2 weeks now but well as mama pickin concain(concern) no time jare. If I am not changing diaper, I am either cooking or sorting out their (baby and hubby's) clothes. I have never met a man so untidy in my entire life. That is story for another day.

My husband takes pride in just dropping clothes all over the room. Imagine him just coming in from work, well as a solicitor he is mostly in suits. He leaves the jacket in the living room, shirt on the floor in the room cos it is dirty, the trousers probably go on the bed and his vest/singlet right on baby's box of clothes.

I end up picking up after him and it is driving me crazy but well....I LOVE HIM.
But I need to know why men just do this. Painful!

Ehen, I was talking about not closing my eyes when I kiss, does that make me weird? Na by force? I still can't comprehend why I have to close my eyes.

I guess I became like this in those years of kissing so many toads before meeting the prince. LOL
Why wont i want to see what i want kiss. Check the mouth out for pieces of meat or vegetable lurking in between teeth or even the slightest sign of plaque~ now that is totally disgusting. I know but sorry it is the truth.

For Temmytayo if u have to kiss at all, open your eyes wide!. Maybe I am weird oh, just maybe..

My First Night As A Married Woman...

After all the hoola hoola pooh of planning the wedding, spending all my savings on highly frivolous things that if u ask me now are lying wasted in my wardrobe...uhmn...shebi one would definitely expect the wedding night to be erm....you know now.

Anyways, the wedding programme was all done in 5 hours which to me is the best way to get married. Why bother to spend he whole day dancing, kneeling for uncles and aunties you probably never met before the wedding day. You just might even have to contend with your friends fighting over who is the closest to the bride. Like that would be a pill to make the marriage itself work!

As i was saying jare, so we got to Lagos around 5pm and I had to wait outside for about 2 hours before my In-laws started their normal ''ritual'' of praying in the home chapel before the bride can be officially admitted.

Odikwa serious, I was already tired and was feeling very feverish. I wonder, maybe it was the thought of ''I won't be able to run away from this man oh if he pisses me off''. My parents don tell me say I no get bed space for our house again. Imagine, those people didn't even wait for me to be married before they gave my room to the new house help! I am sure I was also thinking...so here is the thing that has always been giving me shivers....I can no longer say no to ''coitus'' ok i mean love making. What if this bros that I love to bits says ''coitus'' has to be every night? Chei!

Ok, we sha used 2 hours to pray and by then I was already weak in the knees. My nose was running like a tap, eyes watery. By the end of it all I remember my brother in law guiding me upstairs to lie down for a while cos i was really weak. I could hear everyone throwing jibes at boo that he should take it easy with ''our wife'' oh.

I had my bath and changed into one of the negligees i got as a gift during my bridal shower. Uhmn, i even dabbed a touch of perfume. I laid on the bed just to catch my breath only for me to wake up at 8am the next day! I slept all through the night. Yours truly was down with fever for the next 3 days....Shame!

As a bigz girlz concern.....

My peeps, thanks for all the ideas on what to cook, i don start to dey experiment if by the next time u see me and i no fit enter thru a door na una all cause am!

I have started doing sit ups in the morning now to make my tummy come down sha, I must be slim by force.

You see, I sincerely do not know why all my friends decided to get married this April to be honest. Can you imagine, I have got no free Saturday this coming month. If they only picked date without telling me to buy Aso Ebi shebi e go better. Now I have spent a total of N35,000 and still need to pay another N40,000. Odikwa serious, and I never collect salary for 3 months. As it is now my husband might just go on AWOL if I continue asking him for money to satisfy my friends. But as a bigz girlz sha, I gast to represent!

Seriously, can someone explain why people have to pick odd looking fabrics and gum ridiculous prices on the fabrics???!! It is unfair......very very.

My new month resolution:no more aso ebi for this year.

Random Curses And Blessings cum dry gist.

For the past 5 months I have been struggling with this. I love reading other peoples posts but I just have lost the zeal well not passion for blogging. Too many things to do, with two babies at hand life couldn't be more interesting and at the same time hectic.

Ok,rewind to last year November jare. Yours truly went for loads and loads of interviews as boo and his folks in association with mine decided I should stay back with my ''property''. You see if u ask me I just wanna live where I will have access to light and 24hrs Internet no story. Naija sha, NEPA makes me cry atimes to be honest.

Anyways to cut long story short o, i got a job and i started on the 1st of December. I resigned last week(which is the main reason for the time on my hand to actually blog) because of only 1 REASON.

I am yet to be paid for services I have rendered for four months or so. My oga talk say recession dey worry am. Wetin concern me. User oshi! Na for inside this recession the monkey buy Benz B150 0, me i still dey manage my own 2005 model of my ''car''. Oloshi even bought house in Ikoyi o. He will rot in hell for making me go thru stress. Shebi if i had known i for use all the money wey i dey take fuel my car to go to the Island everyday to start a shop even if na to dey sell recharge card, it won't have been a venture in vain.

One last curse, oga mi ''you won't know PEACE until you pay me my money oh''. Ehen, enough said.

To the people I want to bless for their loving kindness: all my friends. The ones that I don't call but they still find time to call me,may God reward you oh jare. The emails, text messages even facebook posts dey always make my day. God bless you all.

What has been happening to me.? I am FAT. I used to be a UK 6, US 4 abi na 2? I really cant explain how it happened o but right now i am a UK 12, dunno what that is in American size. The only plus side of all this is the bigger bust and bum. Every other part is plain unwanted fat. Help!!!!!!

I am gradually losing it on what to cook as well. SOS to all women out there. My husband says i only give him two options. A and B when it comes to food. Which is either Rice or Amala. Any suggestions before the boy decides to start eating out oh.

End of randomness. Cathya,la er.

Thanking God for my boys...

It has been one year of marital bliss and God has been so good to me. Going down memory lane and all that has happened in my life, I know that I serve a living God. Here was I, 2 years ago crying and moaning over a guy that i gave five years of my beautiful life who decided to cheat o what i thought was ''love''.

God sent my prince charming my way and within months we got married, 11 months after He blessed us with a baby boy. I am not going to say it has been easy all the way, but God has seen me through all that I thought was overwhelming. He has given me enough reasons never to doubt his unfailing love.

Thank you Lord for being my strength and shield.
I am back in Lagos now and hopefully with enough helping hands, I will be able to update my blog regularly. But come to think of it,what would be so interesting to even blog about sef? Nappies, baby wipes, first smile,e.t.c. lets see sha...............
