Monday 23 July 2007

Whara Mess!

Please help me to beg British Airways that I need a seat on Economy Class and not any other class!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am still in Naija o. Have been trying to get a seat on BA since last week Monday and they keep telling me we don't have seat on the class you want. We can get you a seat on Business or first class they said to me like they are going to pay the difference!

In annoyance, i told the girl I have been in this country for close to three months I have been f***g spending pounds! She gave me this kinda look of " what do you want me to do about that miss?"

Like she can do anything really. I am really GROUCHY! Well considering that it is that time of the month too.
Mr O is kinda happy, he kuku doesn't want me to go back. I no go gree for am.

To make myself happy today, I had to watch Chronicles of Narnia. I topped it up deliciously with RUSH HOUR 1 and 2. God bless Jackie Chan for making my day.

I fixed my nails o, took enough pictures but guess what???? I cant find the cable for the CAMERA!!

later peeps.

2 months and 3 weeks gone

To every one that left a comment on my last post you are truly appreciated.
She is Temmy.
Temmy is engaged.
Temmy planned to show you guys her engagement ring but she couldn't get round to fixing her nails. She was trying not to gross you all out with her stubby nails. lol.

Tho I wish I could tell you about the way he proposed, but it is a pity that I can't. I promised him that we are PRIVATE! No more MR O and I on blogger.

I am not particularly happy at the moment, I developed this nasty headache since Nigeria lost to Chili last night. How can we be that humiliated???? 4 goals to nothing. Not that our goal keeper was dozing but I can only say it was bad officiating. My head even hurts the more thinking about this. (sob sob).

Temmy leaves for the UK in a couple of days. I already miss home and I miss him too.
I will miss having someone cook for me, will miss the comfort of driving or having someone drive me. So I have to start jumping on buses again. Going to the market on Sundays, sleeping alone, back to reading my mills and boon and watching naija films as if they are going out of fashion. I tire o.

Home is sweet, will miss my comfy bed. Will miss my throw pillows, will miss listening to cool FM. Above all I will miss Africa Magic. I cant believe I spent 2 months and 3 weeks in Nigeria.

She is engaged!

So it is official:

She is engaged. I wish her well. In this journey called marriage. It takes patience and compromise. Is she really ready to compromise? Spend the rest of her life trusting some one else's judgement or opinion on how she should live her life?
I know her very well.
She has a beautiful heart, wants the best marriage any single young woman would dream off.

She waited for close to 3 decades for this day, now it is in her face and she is scared pant less( excuse my french).

She told me about her fears:

1. Her world practically revolves around her man. In as much as she wants him to do his own things, she always wants to be around him and he thinks she is choking him with love.

2. HE told her that she makes decisions spontaneously without consulting him, it is bringing a wedge between them.Though they love each other but she said she is used to being that way. She can change, she needs to try.

3. She had a nasty past relationship and she has become very paranoid. Any slight argument between the two of them, the next thing that comes to her mind is: BREAK UP!

4. She is just scared. She looked forward to getting married all her adult life, now that it is staring her in the face, she is SCARED!

To All the ladies In The House

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ...

Enough money within her control to move outand rent a place of her own, even if she never wants to or needs to... My parents are on my case so I feel like fleeing from them. This is sooo true!

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ...

Something perfect to wear if the employer,or date of her dreams wants to see her in an hour...So true, i changed my clothes like 5 times before going out with Mr O last week. Shame.

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ..

A youth she's content to leave behind.... not sure about that yet.

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ...

A past juicy enough that she's looking forward to re telling it in her old age....

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .....

A set of screw drivers, a cordless drill, and a black lace bra.... The cordless drill will be useful if boyfy is acting up. Simply drill his brains out.

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE .

One friend who always makes her laugh.. . And one who lets her cry... Thank you delilah 3.

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ....

A good piece of furniture not previously owned by anyone else in her family.... Oh my arm chair in the UK, I miss you gan o.

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ...

Eight matching plates, wine glasses with stems, and a recipe for a meal, that will make her guests feel honored.... Well, well well!

A WOMAN SHOULD HAVE ...

A feeling of control over her destiny..

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

How to fall in love without losing herself. So true!

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

How to quit a job: Temmy is an expert on this. No more intrest, I let go.
Break up with a lover: Not so easy but can be necesary.
And confront a friend without; ruining the friendship... Trust me on this.

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

When to try harder... and WHEN TO WALK AWAY...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

That she can't change the length of her calves, the width of her hips, or the nature of her parents.. Isnt that sad???

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

That her childhood may not have been perfect...but its
over...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

What she would and wouldn't do for love or more...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

Wow to live alone... even if she doesn't like it... get married or find a flat mate!

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW..

Whom she can trust, whom she can't,and why she shouldn't take it personally...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

where to go...be it to her best friend's kitchen table...or a charming inn in the woods... when her soul needs soothing...

EVERY WOMAN SHOULD KNOW...

What she can and can't accomplish in a day...
a month...and a year...

Finally,
Every woman should know she is fearfully and wonderfully made!
